Stormy Daniels Launching CBD Lubricant

Stormy Daniels Launching CBD Lubricant

Stormy Daniels has collaborated with a Spokane cannabis processor to create a CBD lubricant.

The actress/director/author and entrepreneur has worked with processor Mike Forest to create the minimal product, designed to make intimacy more enjoyable.

Forest, the owner of Forest Pharms, contacted Daniels when she revealed she was interested in starting her own CBD line. He recently developed his own CBD-infused water-based lubricant using nanotechnology which allows the product to sink into the skin and more quickly take effect.

Together, Forest and Daniels created Tempest By Stormy – a water-based, oil-free lubricant that is considered safe to use across all skin types.

Forest has been attempting to find ways to employ nanotechnology in the manufacturing process of CBD products since 2011, far before its legalization in 2018.

He said: “The problem is that cannabis is not very bioavailable. This is why THC and CBD are typically suspended into something that increases absorption when applied to the skin, like an oil. We use a new technique that involves a fat-bonded, full-spectrum, nanotization process.”

Forest Pharms uses an ultrasonic process to break down CBD microparticles into nanoparticles.  This allows the hemp to dissolve into water and increases its bioavailability.

CBD, or cannabidiol, can now be purchased in oils, creams, and tinctures, although the FDA has its work cut out to fully regulate products in 2020.

Although Forest has been working on this process for years, Daniels revealed she brushed CBD off as the latest craze when she first heard about it.

She said: “Two summers ago, I had a serious fall while jumping my horse. I had a fractured spine and a severely sprained pelvis. I was told it would be a minimum of six weeks until I could walk even using crutches. I hate pain pills, so when a friend sent me some CBD products, I thought I’d try them.”

Within 12 hours, Daniels had stopped taking pain medication and was only reaching for the CBD.

“I rubbed the cream on my injuries and was walking without crutches less than two weeks later,” she said. “I was back on my horse in less than a month, much to my doctor’s dismay. That’s when I became an advocate for CBD.”

She added that Forest’s explanation of how nanotechnology worked with CBD ‘amazed’ her and she is now ‘incredibly proud and excited’ to be using it to create Tempest products.

While CBD lubes are not new to the market, many take a long time to be absorbed and some even use medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) oil as their base product, which can break down latex condoms.

Forest said Tempest begins working as soon as it is applied to the skin, and users get more CBD by volume than they do with other products.

A spokesperson for Daniels shared the effects the lube has had on its users: “We have heard many wonderful stories from friends and loved ones, about how CBD has changed lives, alleviated pain and anxiety, and helped people open up to life.

“We love Tempest because it uses the magic of CBD to change love lives for the better, helping people of all stripes and ages to connect to one another and have better sex. And the nanotechnology makes all the difference in the world. It makes CBD absorption almost instant, so you never lose the thrill of the moment.”

Daniels noted that her friends have started to use the lubricant to improve their intimate relationships, finding that it helps to relieve the symptoms associated with menopause.

As part of the launch of her new product, Stormy Daniels will be making public appearances around the country where you can expect big CBD statements. To keep up with her trip around the country, follow her Twitter account.
